We are in the middle of Croweek, also known as “Crunk Rock Out” Week. Every night, the entire school is bussed out to a different venue to celebrate some sort of themed night. The most exciting one was probably the Matrimony Night when my RA was proposed to on stage in the dining hall. The groom-to-be sang to her while playing on the piano before asking for her hand. The rest of the night they were engaged and in the end they were married. The rest of the nights were fun and I had to wear my fresher hat for most of them. Some of the other freshers did not like wearing them, but I didn't mind. Especially since last semester the fresher hats were huge, ugly sombreros.

School: My earliest class begins at 10am, not too shabby. My social neuroscience course seems like is going to be awesome! However, I just figured out how to use DC++ properly and am trying to maintain my productivity levels. Who wants to read a textbook when they could be watching Pretty Woman?
Some things I miss about America: Pizza that is easily accessible, Ice Cream, Cheap Prices, Deli-C (conditional), Morgan common room kitchen, my favorite face wash, dryers that dry clothes, and you guys I guess.
It is kind of frustrating that there are different fashion trends in Australia, and pretty much every girl follows them. The color scheme is a light, girly pink, off-white, and black. It is really powderpuff. Also, the tights and short dress are really in style. 90's dresses to be exact, most of which are atrocious and I could never pull off for real. Anyway, Liz, Megan and I were at a mall and shared the same observation. Every store for young people seemed to sell the same stuff, there was no variation. America-1, Australia-0.
We had our first formal dinner which was pretty boring except for the fact that the robes we have to wear are uncannily similar to those in Harry Potter. I can tune the boring speaker and bad food out by imagining floating candles above my table.

P.S. This probably was my nerdiest blog post, but I don't apologize.
cant wait to see you in tights and 90s skirts. Ow ow!
